Healthcare Supplies

Good quality plain white fitted bedsheets, boxes of surgical gloves, cotton swabs. Please inquire with your Group Leader if you have other ideas and access to medical supplies as we can liaise with our HOPE Hospital to determine needs. *Please note that you cannot bring medicines into India that aren’t for personal use* All first aid products must be in date.

There is absolutely no obligation for you to bring additional gifts. Your hard work in fundraising has already being vitally important in supporting HOPE’s projects. Your gift of time, patience and interaction when you visit our child protection homes is the most important gift you can provide.
Please note that HOPE staff in Kolkata will collect the items from you and distribute as they feel is appropriate, i.e. save for birthdays and special occasions. Many children in our homes have grown up with a ‘begging’ culture, and we do not want to promote this.
